Fundraising events, and auctions, in particular, can be a tremendous way to raise both money and support for your cause. A well-planned auction means considering a multitude of variables, that most people, even experienced staffers, may overlook.  This workshop is designed to be an interactive opportunity to learn about many aspects of a fundraising auction event, including event logistics (sound, layout, guest traffic flow), investment considerations (AV/sound support, catering, bands, decorations), mission and message (what to say, when to say it, and how long to keep talking), as well as a variety of other considerations.  Your panel of presenters can answer questions on virtually every aspect from concept through execution and post-event details. You'll leave with tips, ideas, and concepts that you can put to use immediately.
