Meet The Speakers

Allyson Bolton, Atypical Consulting + Events

Allyson Bolton is the president and founder of the non-profit and corporate event planning company, Atypical Consulting + Events, based in Reno, Nevada. A west coast girl at heart, Allyson arrived in Reno from New York City with a strong public relations and social media background. While PR remains a part of her DNA, Allyson transitioned to its cousin - event planning - in 2013 working for a large non-profit where she found her true passion in management and strategic partnerships.  Finding an itch to do more, she founded Atypical as a resource and partner with the Northern Nevada community. From golf tournaments to live auctions and galas to weddings, Allyson has helped raised over one million dollars in one night and planned nearly 50 events in the last 4 years

Keith McLane, BAS, KLM Auctions

Keith is one of the country’s preeminent fundraising auctioneers and special appeal/fund-a-need experts. Since 1995, he has specialized in organizing and conducting charity and fundraising auctions for schools, charitable organizations, and nonprofit groups across the nation. Never the shy one, Keith has become well-known for his fun and entertaining auctioneering style that frequently takes him out from behind the podium and deep into the audience! Keith holds an MBA from The UCLA Anderson School of Management and is a graduate of the world-famous Missouri Auction School, which Newsweek magazine dubs “The Harvard of Auctioneering.” He is also one of only a small number of auctioneers in the country–and one of only twenty auctioneers in California–to have achieved the National Auctioneers Association’s Benefit Auction Specialist (BAS) designation.
